What is the best glue to use when glueing card stock onto chipboard? I have a bunch of chipboard shapped albums that I want to start but not sure what type of glue to use when attaching the card stock.
Thank you.

I have used Tacky glue before and that seems to hold very well. I will squeeze the glue onto the chipboard and then brush it smooth with a foam brush to cover the edges. then place the cardstock on top. The ATG tape works well too but if you have alot of pieces it will not go very far.

I use Scor-Tape when I'm doing lots of straight edges...for example, the basic covers for the recipe swaps. I've used it for smaller pieces (squares, rectangles, etc.) also.
For shaped pieces, I use Best Glue Ever or (for teeny-tiny pieces or letters) my Zig pen.
These items are all available right here on SL! HTH!

I used to modge podge my paper down but lately I prefer my ATG but I would second the scor tape..anything that has a firm hold. I just ensure all the edges have adhesive and a few lines down the middle..then sand the edges to mesh the paper and chipboard together

ATG, Scor-tape and Modpodge are the perfect helpers !

My go-to for adhering to chipboard is Xyron. I cut the paper/cardstock, run it through the Xyron, adhere to the chipboard, then sand off any excess paper/cardstock. You get a nice smooth finish, with no bubbling or warping since it's a dry adhesive. If you don't have a Xyron, I'd use a gluestick - I'm loving the big, fat thermoweb one. HTH. Gail

I'm assuming that you mean the cheap albums with the chipboard like many layers of paper/cardboard? I use Tacky glue like Cindy, but I use a room key/credit card to spread it out thinly. I just want the thinnest layer and I don't want the paper to bubble.
When I use glue sticks, they seem to dry out over time. And if I use ScorTape/ATG/Xyron, the top layer of the chipboard seems to lift up and then I'm trying to squeeze some glue in the cracks to get it to stick back down.

I use Scotch tacky glue, too.....I make sure that I get the edges covered well, then spread it around the center in a crosshatch pattern. Then I use a brayer to get it stuck down tight. And then sand the edges when dry. Seems to hold up for me. And is way cheaper than using my ATG or Xyron or Scor-tape, which I use for my pages all the time!
