okay ladies, I have gotten emails from SO MANY of you...you're loving the Sweet Spots. And I couldn't be more excited! They are fun little "spots" to add to cards, scrapbook pages, banners/pennants, etc. I also just tucked several of the "love you" spots into a card, almost like confetti! I die-cut them in tissue paper so they hopefully will flutter around when the card is opened! LOVE LVOE LOVE!
So - of course I'm going to make more!! I got the "thumbs up" from Dani {you know boys - they want proof - hee he!!} to make some more. HOORAY!
Three are coming up in September...but what about October, November and December?
What kinds of things would YOU like to see done in these great little versatile dies that sell here at Scrapy Land for $6.25...
tell me YOUR ideas. tell me what SPOT you're craving. what word/sentiment do you use over and over??
just remember:
- I can't do copyrighted phrases {Go Yankees!, Disneyland, etc.}
- I am limited to word size {2 or 3 short words...thank you was a tight squeeze LOL} but sometimes three words balance better, so I added "oh" to the thank you!
Lots of holidays are coming up - and everyone is still scrappin' summer pictures...that might stir up some ideas!
And you know, my sticking point is versatility. I really like to try and do words/phrases that can serve multiple uses. If it's a phrase for a card front it should also be usable on a scrapbook page. It gives you more bang-for-your-buck.
i.e. - "with sympathy" for a Spot would be pretty much only usable on a card front. Hard to use on a page. Where as "good luck" can be used on a card front, a graduation banner, a basketball playoffs scrapbook page, etc.
So if after reading all of this your brain is whirling...send me an email. Please don't post it here {we already have one copycat manufacturer!!}. If I use your idea and a die gets produced - YOU will win a die!! If more than one person submits a winning idea...there will be a drawing for a free die.
So SEE YOUR IDEA IN PRODUCTION...hooray! Trust me - it's an amazing feeling!
