Assuming you love candy (standing on chair jumping with arm fully extended and waving)
What is your favorite candy?
Personally I am a fan of Kit Kats but do have a soft spot for Hersheys plain choc bars since they are essential to smore making.
So what kind do you fancy the most?

We only get to pick one? ;D ;D ;D Depending on the day... Pay Day is probably my family's favorite, so we usually have that one on hand (not so great for the waistline!) But (and I know this sounds crazy, but go along with me!), Snickers and a bag of Kettle Corn is very super-yummy!

I'm with Casunflower.....Only ONE? ? I'll have to go with the one I buy most often: Panda natural black licorice. Sometimes I eat too much of it, and my heartbeat goes whacky, so I am more careful with how much I eat at one time! But I also LOVE: M&M plain and peanuts; Kraft vanilla caramels; Hershey nuggets with almonds, and Three Musketeers! And I wouldn't pass up several other brands if that's all the store had!!!

oh sure - let's talk about candy today! HAHAHA - I'm mopey and pouty already because the weather is so icky and hot... being diabetic, I don't indulge a lot - but I allow myself treats now and then. this time of year it's all about CANDY CORN!!!! Oh my goodness, the bags call my name from the pantry - can you hear them... ?? but anything that has a salty and a sweet at the same time - Snickers, PayDay, peanut M&Ms, Hershey with Almonds - I'm not very particular! black licorice is another weakness of mine - major BIG TIME huge weakness. My hometown is home to "Licorice International" and yes, they send me emails when I haven't ordered in awhile! HAHA! ah sweets - grumble grumble grumble - let me go slice up an apple

Panda natural black licorice is my husband's favorite...and we can't always find it at Trader Joe's...something that used to be easy to do. (DH just went to his computer to look around Licorice International! ;D)

...And what's with all the black Licorice love when clearly red vines are the best!!! I'm sitting here chortling away, since DH has a pile of red vines on his desk at this very moment (they're his second-best favorite, when there's no Panda licorice!)

oh Diane did your hubby find LI??? www.licoriceinternational.com/licorice/pc/home.aspIt's usually my very first stop when I'm back in NE, after I see my daughter and my folks. The ladies that work there spoil me rotten - give me samples of the new stuff, and recommend new treats. I really like salty, licorice from Germany and also from Holland. Good stuff! But I'm with him - if black isn't around, I'lm find with red vines. I have a pretty flexible palate!!!!! edited to add: I just opened my last new package of these... www.licoriceinternational.com/licorice/pc/Heksehyl-Heksen-Drop-300g-10-6-oz-43p169.htm TOTALLY my favorite but they are only around this time of year {see the witch!!}. They are a rather salty licorice with a soft center - but nice and pungent too - anise root oh YUM!!! tee hee!!!

Oddly enough, I love the Brachs mini pumpkins that are only available this time of year but do not like candy corn I realize its the same candy just a different shape but I cannot explain it!! I am going to have to try Snickers with kettle corn!! Cindy

My favorite candy bar is a Milky Way - all that oozy caramel is so yummy! Also LOVE Lindt truffles - any flavor - the chocolate just melts in your mouth, Panda Licorice is the best! I like the original black, DH adores the blueberry. Licorice International, huh??? I'm heading there right now!! Gail

oh Diane did your hubby find LI??? ... Judging by the clickety-clicking that I heard on his Ipad after I showed him the links, I'd say he had no trouble finding it! Thanks for the "referral"! ;D

Tootsie Pops---all the older flavors--don't care much for the recent newer flavors. (the little ones they had last Halloween was a great size for me.) Believe it or not I'm a fruit person; grapes, strawberries, apples, oranges, watermelons, cantaloupes, bananas and etc. Give me raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds and I'm in heaven. (yes, I eat meat too; but perfer all the other) Cat

Yeah, so thanks for asking about candy. It made me think about Halloween candy, and I went to Target and got those big bags (you know, the $10 175 piece ones. So I am all ready for Halloween, early. HAH! So the Almond Joys were calling me from one bag.....I have already eaten all of those! I am eyeing up the M&Ms and Snickers.......please GOD give me the strength to stay away!!!! And note to self: next year, go back to routine of buying candy 2 days before Halloween arrives!!!!

Oh, I hear you, Kathy!! My DH now buys the candy and hides it. He doesn't tell me when he's bought it, and even under duress won't tell me where its hidden. He brings it out just before Trick Or Treating starts, and brings all the leftovers to work the next day!! I have a pathetic lack of self-control!! Gail

Too funny, Gail.....my poor DH knows that if he hid our candy, I would not be fit to live with! I'd be tearing the place apart looking for it...and might not cook him any food until I found it!

Kathy, I have to admit, there have been years when I've begged, pleaded, even tried to bribe him into letting me at the candy! Usually, if I'm desperate, he'll bring me a couple of pieces without revealing where they came from! He really is a great guy! Gail
