Boss Kut Gazelle is going to be great. It will have lots of features and easy to use software. We where supposed to get them in June but there was a delay with the production so the next date should be late July. We have them up from presale and have sold quite a few. I think it looks very promising.

I am not sure about the warranty but I am sure it will be at least 1 year. Some specs are
Has a 12" cutting width. *Cuts heavy cardstock, glitter paper, heavy metallic paper and light weight chipboard. *Weld words and shapes right in Gazelle's software. *Design your own images. *Scan images. *Draw, cut, weld, outline, shadow, pierce, embroidery, engrave and more. *Add decorative edges to your images with the scissor tool.

Gals,
I pre-ordered the Bosskut Gazelle in Feb based on the features it shows we can do with it. Check out under Bosskut, then Gazelle here to read/see the new machine on the block. I bought mine for these reasons: scan features welding words ~can't wait shadow/letters size of cuts light weight easy to use software think its compatible with "other" buys you've purchased (please don't hold me to that) Its been awhile and I'm still happy...waiting on good things to come.

I have compared the download designs for both quickutz and gazelle. I think quickutz had more but it looked like it was alot of repeat of the revolution dyes. Do you think it will be worth the extra cost?

Hard $$ question ~ I have the first Cricut and when I see all the cartridges sitting around (at the price they first came out with) that I don't really use, I could of had Gazelle so much cheaper. My opinion, QK is still my first true die cut love, I don't have the Silhoutte cause I felt everything was a duplicate of what I have in metal design (except larger cuts of course) You can buy/choose/get free what you want to from any manufacturer I think and make it work with the Gazelle. (DANI ~ correct me if I'm wrong on that) Guess its really based on what you want a machine to do.
I'm most curious about the scan feature. If I can scan, say a page the kids colored many years ago and use that as a die cut, then I will be in 7th heaven.
I know, not much help but love talking.... Keep us posted on what you decide and share those thoughts.

I did see that it said it will work with other downloads. I would like to know if that was for sure. I agree about the Cricut, I hardly use mine anymore and sincerely enjoy my quickutz. Huhmmmmmm what to do???

Based on my experience with electronic equipment, and all the whiz toys; I have learned a valuable lesson to wait a few months after product release and ramp - this way, any bugs, manufacturing errors are worked out by time I purchase the item.
I have spent money on some expensive toys upon product release and regretted it.

Sorry, can't help you there, I don't even know what a gazell is? I thought it was an animal.
Sorry, having a dumb moment. Should have read the whole thread.
