Good Morning! As I look out my window this morning, I am now in a winter wonderland! We have about 4 inches of snow right now and we are expected to get another 4 inches throughout the day today. It sure looks pretty! It"s going to be a good day to finish my MIL's calendar pages I do for her every year for Christmas...and I might make a batch of vegetable soup today cuz its going to get down right COLD! Tomorrow's high is only 16. BURR! Gotta love the Minnesota winters! So stay warm if you are in this winter weather storm! Have fun getting some of those Christmas projects finished too! Have a good day everyone! Karen

oh my goodness, that's cold, brrrr. I'd be an ice cube. Gonna work on some Christmas ornaments in the next couple days. But I'll be doing it in 70 degree weather (doesn't make it feel like Christmas time but for my body, I will take it). I want to make some of these ornaments with my sil when she comes next week but I need to make sure I have the hang of it before I try and teach it to her, lol.

We, too, are having similar weather, Karen! It wasn't as pretty to start the day (just enough to cover the ground, but you could still see grass through the snow), but we've gotten about 4 inches throughout our day...pretty now! I'm typically NOT happy to see snow, but around Christmas, I'm okay with it!! Sure puts you in the holiday mood!
Speaking of that, I've gotten alot done today: Christmas cards ready, 2 batches of christmas cookies made, a little wrapping done. And right now, I think I'm headed to make some Christmas gift tags with my new Ho-ho-ho and Merry and Bright Sweet Spots that arrived last week....FUN!

You can send a bit of that pretty snow to No. California...DH just said "not until we get home, please"! It's been raining off and on, never torrential, but typical Seattle area weather. We are leaving tomorrow morning to drive home (it is so difficult to say goodbye to 3 little grandsons), and we'll take the snow, if you want to send a bit after Tuesday evening!

We'll be home tomorrow, but I'm willing to wait until New Year's Day for the sparkly white stuff! (Noelle can keep it in Oregon until then!)

Hey! It's not Christmas with out snow! We received a good 12 inches of the white stuff. We can certainly share some! It was cold today. The high was 14 degrees. I work at a school and went outside with the kiddos for recess. We had a blast playing in the snow. As long as you are dressed for the weather, you stay pretty warm. It was a great day for my soup. It tasted sooo good for lunch today. We definitely will have a white Christmas this year.

oh hush missy - snow schmoe!!!!! we live on a golf course and it's not Christmas without a Dec. 25th lunch time romp around the greens with the dogs, or a family picture by the palm trees!!! and when we turn the fireplace on - we just open the windows. And when we blast the Christmas music on Christmas Eve we just prop the front door open so neighbors stop in... and when we shop for gift wrap and decorations at 50% off on the 26th - we do it in flip flops! HEE HEE - don't you love how different the weather is...from one coast to the other!!!!

It would be fun to see what it would be like to be somewhere warm during the winter months. If I found out how nice it was to wear flip flops in December, I probably wouldn't want to come home to the cold!

no I didn't get the ornaments started, lol. I decided to wait until she got here to do them all together. Just too much fun enjoying the capri and flip flop weather for the last week. We were sitting at the football game Sunday afternoon, sweating a bit and laughing how we probably won't get to go to a game this year that wasn't hot/warm. Last home game is Dec 23rd so we'll see. Keep hearing there's a cold front coming through but not yet and it can stay away as far as I'm concerned Vicki

As long as we can get over the pass on Sunday..I love the snow too..just to visit that is. I don't think I would care to live in it..can get pretty messy especially around spring time.

Having grown up in New England, college in Maine, and living for 10 years in Syracuse, NY, I thought I'd had my fill of snow! But every year about this time, I kinda start hoping for a White Christmas. After 15 years in coastal VA, it hasn't happened yet, but a girl can dream, can't she?? It's kinda cool to have 60 degree weather in Dec, but it never REALLY feels like Christmas without the white stuff... Course, I'd want it to be 70 degrees and completely melted on the 26th! Hope all of you are enjoying this wonderful time of year, regardless of your weather! Gail

Ooh, I am so jealous, Karen....I so want snow for Christmas....my DD from California will be home on Friday night for a week, and it would be so much fun to have a little of the white stuff here when she is! We did have 3 or 4 inches last month, but it only lasted a couple of days. Sorry I haven't been around here......went to Hawaii for 10 days (which turned into 12 days because of plane problems) and then the day I returned home I found out that my very best online scrapping friend, who had had surgery for lung cancer while I was away, took a turn for the worse, and then died the next day. I was really devastated, and hadn't scrapped one thing the whole month of November. But I am turning my sadness around, and getting out of my funk! Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be one of you winning that awesome blog prize!
