Thought I pulled drop in and say hi. I will go stand in the scrappy naughty corner, after I type this, but I have not scrapped much in theist few years. I feel a little guilty looking at the unused supplies and thinking about projects I feel I should do, but cannot get excited about.
I should probably do a major purge and just move on, but am stuck in the indecisive mode.

Hi, Jenn! It's nice to "see" you here, and you don't have to be using your stash to stop by and say "hi"! If that was a requirement, this would be a mighty desolate MB. As far as I'm concerned, it's really okay to just store your/my stash until an idea pops up!

I am happy to see you too. Do not feel bad at all- I have a commercial quilting machine that I have not used in a year!! Just too busy doing other activities that I love!! Checking in from time to time might help motivate you to scrap or not either way its fun to talk to everyone. Cindy

Jenn, so glad you're back!! Please don't feel guilty. We all go through changes in our lives that lead to changes in how we express our creativity. Gosh, lets see, I've been an avid knitter, crocheter, sewer, quilter and rubber stamper in my past years. Except the stamps, haven't really done any of them in years since I moved on to scrapbooking! If your stash of supplies is making you feel guilty and you don't see yourself using them anytime soon, by all means purge - it will make you feel better! Since you're a creative person, I hope you have found or will find another outlet for that creativity. Being creative can be such a great stress reliever, and we all need stress relief!! So, if those supplies are causing and not relieving stress, they should go!! Hope this helps, sweetie! Gail

Jenn, I've spent years sewing, quilting, cake decorating, needle point. counted cross stitching, crochet, tatting, and embroidery ; but in the last 10 or 12 yrs I have gone back to my first love card making. I still sew once in a while but all the other has went by the wayside. While my Mom can spend hours doing beautiful embroidery works and my sister does out of this world crochet doilies and table clothes I can't seem to set still to do either for very long. But give me some paper, adhesives, inks, a cutting tool and my copics and I can spend hours playing and never realize how much time has went by. I believe it doesn't matter how we use our creativity as long a we let it out. If scrapping doesn't do it for your creative self anymore try something else (we all grow and change) But let your creativity out and Gail is right being creative can be such a great stress reliever. Being able to using my creativity to make pretty things has been my saving grace for stress the last couple of years. ( and visiting this MB where there are so many great ladies )
So visit even if scrapping isn't your thing and let us know what your creative outlet is now.
Hugs Jenn Cat

Don't feel bad but if you still think about it you perhpas you still have some thoughts about picking it up again..sometimes we just need a little kick start and then we realize how much we miss it. But if it's not your thing then don't feel too guilty about it either. I am sure you will find lovely homes for all your scrappy things. Either way welcome back
