I've got a question...and I know I can get answers here!
I was able to pick up a Genius Platform for a great price today, and I came here to look for info before I stick it in my Vagabond. Is it still being used safely in the Vagabond? Any problems I should know about??
I'm not sure what I've missed...I've been gone for A LONG TIME!!

Thanks Susan! I've been on a scrappy spending freeze for awhile now! I confess the purchase was an impulse buy...along with a few other purchases at what seemed to be an awesome deal. The sad part is...if I'd checked here I would have known the price wasn't as great as I thought. Scrapyland has much better prices! Live and learn!

Another quick question...are the mats usable on both sides? Do I flip them back and forth when cutting like I do the plastic ones? Or is only the one side used for cutting?

I use my mats on both sides and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know if that is how the mats are supposed to be used or not, and I no longer have the instructions. Hopefully, Susan will let us know!

I personally use my A and B mats on both sides, partly because I'm lazy and don't always notice until it's too late, and partially because flipping mats has been engrained in my brain since Revolution days. I don't know what the official "company line" is as far as recommendations on mat flipping goes, but in practice I've been just fine with what I do currently!
