When do you usually start making your Holiday Cards? I don't usually start till Thanksgiving, but I know some start as early as July... When do you start?

I toyed with the idea of starting some cards in July- sadly, didn't get anything together but maybe in the next couple of weeks my ideas will involve actual work getting done!

I know, to me I can't make HOLIDAY cards when it is 100 outside... Thank goodness FALL is only 2 months away...at least I can think about turkey cards or back to school cards and items for teachers.

I made cards about 4 years ago but have not sent them out yet LOL!!! I do not usually make Christmas cards, not because I don't like too but because I forget to mail them!! I usually make Christmas tags to go on the gifts that I give out  Cindy |

Oh Cindy, your Christmas tags are a work of art. "Tags" is too modest for the art that I've seen you put on your Christmas presents. More like decorations. Just think, you are the only one to know those cards are 4 years old. If you can find them, so much the better!

I would love to see everyone's creation. I wonder if Dani would consider putting up a GALLERY for everyone to share there creations.... I will have to ask...

I usually start designing them in July, thinking of supplies I have. This year, I have an "idea" but I may just make photo cards as I've started making Halloween 3D candy boxes for the grandkids school classes, Christmas and party favors for our Christmas vacation. Work is getting in the way of my creativity |

We used to have another gallery that was linked to the scrapyland page that had more projects that we uploaded, the gallery on the blog looks like it is only for submittals made during certain times |

Well, I usually start December 15th - and then I have to work like crazy ... But luckily in Germany we do not send out so many Christmas cards. Every year I wish I had started earlier, though ...

I travel for my job, so I have to make cards when I am home. I have made a few so far, but not sure which ones I will mass produce to sent out in December. Still playing with ideas.  |

The snowman is a stamp. Stamped on the paper doilies you find in the baking area of craft stores.

I send out Halloween cards so typically start making a few here and there now..for Christmas cards I wait until the CHA christams pp lines hit the stores..so that can be anywhere from late Aug to late Sept.
