Check back every Wedneday for a new organizational tip! I started storing my markers in the trays (third picture). Ouch! those are expensive. I needed 6-8 more and my collection is still growing. So I found something online I wanted to try. So off to Home Depot I went. I purchased a 10' gutter downspout (all white) for $9 dollars total and proceeded to the lumber area to cut them down (yes by a hand saw) to 5 1/2 inch pieces. Most of the edges were uneven and rough. Then my father came over and said " I have an electric saw to cut these down for you". LOL So he returned the next day with 20 nicely cut pieces. I love it and I have lots of room to grow. What do you think?

Wonderful idea. Cheap too! I am using plastic containers like those we used to store our Beanie Babies in (you remember those right). They run about $5 ea. I have pictures on my blog about a week ago that shows them.

when I saw your picture I thought it was the plastic containers that Crystal Lite (2 qt size) came it. I use those for storing smaller tools in my tote and think anyone with a smaller collection of Copics might be able to use those for free - and I tried one & the lid would go on if that is important to anyone for transporting.

Thank you and yeah a small fortune in those copics. I asked my dh one day what he would do with all my sbing supplies if I suddenly dies..and ack!!! He said probably just throw it away...NOOOO!!..Let me tell you he got a fast lesson about what to do with my items and how much stuff was worth.
patb, that is an awesome idea and love the lids because when you are going to a crop or what not I like everything to stay in place.

I did see an image of those being used too. Great idea. My friend had told me she recycled about 15 of those the other day. wish I had known. These I think are more sturday and definitely larger but what a great idea and no costs..
