We have had three Rottweilers and one Great Dane … so def. the big dogs for us!

I have a german shephard who is amazing. But love english mastiffs.

I had a mutt growing up, she was a mix between a miniature collie and a rottweiler. I loved her! If I were to get a dog now, though, it would be a small dog like a miniature schnauzer or a dachshund.

I have had many dogs through the years, and I am into puppy rescue right now. So I see everything - mixed and purebred. I would have to say that by far, my favorite breed is a Heinz57. That is to say a little of this, a little of that, and a little more of something else. Right now I have a 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and a litter of Chihuahua mix puppies. If I had to mention a AKC purebred as my favorite, though, I would say a German Shepherd. Fabulous dogs!
