Out where I live it's been hit or miss with hot days. I have an a/c I run but hate to turn it on because that means $$$$ to the local energy company. Most nights we get fog in so that helps cool things down at night but really would love to get a solar powered roof fan so it can pull that cool air in at night to cool off the house which can get pretty warm.
I know it gets pretty warm and humid this time of year for a lot of folks and just wonder what you do to keep cool?

I am swimming nightly. well teaching water aerobics. that keeps me cool though most of the night. I actually use to be keep my a/c on around 76-78 and then got a $800 energy bill. ouch. not again. most mine goes up to is $400 because now it is down to 82 at the lowest.

Our neighbors have a pool and when it's warm out I think why aren't they in there..I would be in there all the time..but only hear their one son in it about once or twice a month..he spends more time on their trampoline peering over into our yard more than anything..LOL

I would love a pool. so need a built in though. we had an above ground one and couldn't keep chlorine levels right to keep it clean

It's finally been warmer here but still cooler than normal, but once it hits 90 we turn on the AC.
