Yep, they did win, and it was totally thrilling! The winning goal came just 5 minutes before the end - my fingernails and voice havent recovered fully from that stress yet. The boys were so excited and we all went out to celebrate with the people on the street afterwards. We'll see how the final on Sunday will go...

I remember a couple years back when italy won. Someone that worked for the department of transportation rigged of the electronic highway construction signs to say "Viva Italia!" I thought it was creative, but probably not a very prudent thing to do.

LOL, yep Italians are supposed to be emotional and passionate about their team.
Today is the second semifinal, Spain against Russia. I'd prefer the Spanish team, the Russians bet the Netherlands (so maybe Angelique is no longer that interested) and played like a whirlwind.
The final will be at 8:45 pm MEST on Sunday evening

I've watched the second half. I cam home late from Ikea. I was hoping the Turkish team would win... (Sorry Barbara).
I am going to watch the Russia-Spain game tonight. I hope the Russian team will win. After all their coach is a dutch man....
