I personally use it for both, because it's sometimes cheaper to make a card than to buy one, and because it's so much personal.
Nice poll.
Thanks, Betty/navymom05

Though I do much more scrapbooking than cardmaking. Actually I make cards more to use up my scraps - and to justify my purchases to DH a little more

"Neither, I'm too busy buying them" --- ROFL!!!
That is too funny! Lately that is how I feel but I have managed to complete a couple of LO! Just not as many as I would like too!

I enjoy both I am always giving a bunch of home made cards for stocking stuffers...thank you's and such. Believe it or not I still write letters even with the email age. I get so excited still when I get real live mail. I am always sending my daughter little notes in the mail and she just lives across town.

I so enjoy making my own cards, and of course, I love scrapbooking. Pamela, you are just too good - writing your own letters in this day and age. I think it's wonderful. We're losing the art of handwriting. It's so special. I bet your daughter loves all those notes you send.

I'll be honest, now that this board is up and running, I'll never get anything done.... Between reading posts, buying dies...when will I find the time to make them....

She does I hope....I know she really likes them when i toss in a gift card...never anything big but things like Starbucks, Jason's Deli or Movie Money so she can do something without worry about her budget.....

Pamela, you are such a great Mom. You spoil her, and that's what Mom's do.
Beth, you sound like me. I swear there's not enough hours in the day. Wouldn't it be fun if we could all get together and make stuff. Laugh, create, eat and just have a blast. Sigh!!!

I love making cards... I feel like I can complete a project in a half hour or so unlike a page. I now have my mother and my dsd and dsd-in law learning to scrap... I love it because I can tell my husband that I need this (Quickuts stuff) for the girls to make a certain card or page they might need. Vic
