I've figured out what's going on, ladies... Most of us are taking a breather after the last recipe swap to recharge our creative batteries. Miss Ana wasn't part of that, so she's all fresh and rarin' to go! That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! ;D What do you think, girls?? Gail

Quit bragging! Some day I'll get my mojo back. Right now, I'm determined to get the house in order. I'm working my way from the top floor down. And the stuff that I don't know what to do with goes down. And now I'm working on the basement and there's a lot of STUFF down there!

Hmm, yep, I have a few of those things checked off, Karen. I have kind of a rough sketch for the design, but no actual forward progress yet. Again, though, it sounds like I am in good company! Christy

Sorry about the dissing, Susan! These ladies are pretty wild, and it's hard to keep them under control... You know I would NEVER, ever think of dissing you on the MB, right??? Seriously, I'm sure your lime green page (now there's a shocker!LOL) is well worth waiting for, and I KNOW the recipe is!!! Gail

Well, I for one appreciate the need for NO bifocals! I'm doing ok with the glasses, but the contacts are making me batty. My brain still hasn't merged the two images. (I have one contact for near vision, one for far vision.) I'm still sort of seeing them separately. But every now and then, the images merge together and I get a glimpse of what can be, so I keep trying!

LATEST UPDATE! We're now back to 12. Pam was getting overwhelmed, and asked to opt out. I hope all you ladies are OK with that, since our goal is to have fun! So we are 12. If we can keep the 3D stuff down to a dull roar (Hint, hint!), there should be enough room for everyone to do 2 pages this time. We came close to overwhelming the binding on the last one! If any of you has your heart set on doing 3 recipes, then I think you can get away with it if your pages are flat as a pancake! So where's everyone at with this one?? I've got my recipes chosen, and a plan for the cover, though if the last book is any indication, I totally changed the cover once I started working on it!!! Happy Scrapping! Gail

Gail, I have two recipes, and I'll try to keep them flat! (Yes, I know that Yoda said "Do or do not. There is no 'try'"
Are you going to round the outer corners, again? I am chalking the edges of one of the pages to darken the color a bit, and I'll go ahead and round them (with the pink BIA corner rounder) if it's necessary.

Sorry, divas, to throw a kink in the plan! I'm sure this book will be awesome and would love to see what you all come up with! I just have a ton on my plate right now...

Diane, I was going to round the corners again, unless someone objects. I think that for something like this that may get a lot of use, the rounded corners can help prevent dog-eared pages in the future.
Is that OK with all of you??? Gail

Pam, that is totally understandable. Maybe next time.
I love the idea of rounded corners Gail.

Gail rounding the corners are fine with me. You and Diane did a wonderful job with this recipe book. I said before in the other thread, I can't say enough about these amazing books. I will treasure it forever and think of each and everyone of you. I'm so proud of it; it makes me want to cry happy tears. Beautiful! Amazing! Cat

Pam, I hate that you will be missing another swap; but maybe next time. We don't want you to be overwhelmed because then it not any fun for you. Know you will be missed; but we all have those times so we understand completely.
Hugs & prayers Cat
