Chocolate cookbook, huh??? Totally yummy!!  We could do it after the Holiday one ladies, but would have to put the crockpot edition on hold... What do you guys think??? Gail P.S. So glad you guys are enjoying the books! As the recipes came in, I just kept getting more and more blown away by the talent on display! The hardest part of this swap was keeping mum about the gorgeous pages and recipes! Glad you liked the covers, Susan. Diane was a huge help. The design of the book covers is the same for everyone, but the color scheme varies... Some of you may have noticed (Susan, Basketlady, and Cindy) that your covers are in your favorite colors... The rest of you, sorry - didn't know your favorite!  |

But my son has always called it "crock potty" from when he was 2 and I'd make the kids crock pot cocoa! Ever had it? it's yummy!! hahaha - and master plan! YEP - love the people who have them, I'm just not one of them! sounds like I'm in good company! |

I received mine today and I LOVE it!!! thanks everyone both Daughter and I looked through it several times. We have to draw straws to see which recipe we make first! I wish I had added the story to the back of my cards, that was a great idea! I would love to be in the "crock potty" swap. I guess I need to get going on the Christmas one though first!!. I got my cookbook!!!! WOW! I'm so amazed at how well all the pages flow together. What a wonderful keepsake to have from all of y'all!
I can't wait to try some of these recipes. The peach salsa and blueberry crumble look especially tasty!
Sister, I can't believe the little cakes you made with the whipped cream and cherries and chocolate in all those different textures! That look AMAZING! So does the rest of it. You used that Purple Cow to laminate the cards, right?
Well, I have art history to study for, so I better get back at it. Then maybe I'll take some time to work on the holiday cookbook pages! Time's a' tickin' away!

Yep, Sister, I used the Purple Cow laminator (is that actually a word?). Awesome machine! Works for cold or hot laminating up to 12x12 pages and so easy to use. Maybe Dani could carry it and/or the refills (hint, hint). I can see myself needing lots of refills (well if I can keep having some regular scrapping time. I used liquid applique for the cake and whipped cream on the little cake. I was surprised it turned out be be just the effect I was looking for. I'm getting right to trying the recipes. I am treating my Pokeno group to the Summer Chicken Salad and Lemon Looso Tuesday night. Can't wait!! Well, time to get busy on my holiday pages--before I have to go clean the house for Tuesday. c |

Yes I got my recipe book too. Thank yo so much for doing this. I love it every one did such a great job. I am looking forward to the Christmas one too I have one laid out now to think on the other. Diane what size rings are on the cookbook. I have a bind it all but have not used it as of yet. Thanks again Suzanne |

Suzanne, I'm awful with peoples names .....I had an allergic reaction to a medication that turned into seizures before I got to the hospital. At first I had a hard time thinking of the names of things and people...... but over the years I've had a huge improvement on most names of things....I still have trouble with people's names if I don't see or talk to them very often. Crazy sounding and it embrassed me for a long time.....but I decided after a few months I wasn't going to sweat it any more and I'm even learned to joke about it when I goof-up. Cat
