1. Submit one or more recipes, each on an 8x8 inch page with scrappy embellishment (please avoid too much 3-D stuff, as it will interfere with binding).
2. Please leave a 1" margin on the left hand side of the page for the binding.
3. Make enough duplicates of each page for each participant
4. Please put your first name somewhere on your recipe(s) - you could sign the page, or put it in the title ("Susan's Firecracker Shrimp")
5. Mail your finished pages to me by August 15th.
6. I'll bind them and distribute our cookbooks.

what do you think we should include for shipping?  ? I'm thinking $4-5 each??? Oh wait - 8x8 might need a bigger envelope - Gail tell us what to include - OH and what is our deadline? End of July-ish? This is going to be fun ladies! Thanks Gail for organizing and brainstorming all of this!  |

And...the cost of the binding coils needs to be included, too! I think Gail said that the deadline is August 15th. |

Don't worry about the binding ladies, I have a BIG stash of coils! ;D For shipping, lets wait until we see how many sign up, which will give us some idea about the weight of the finished book, then I'll weigh a sample of that size, and can let you all know. Diane has volunteered to help with the covers, so we're hashing out our design. I guess I do have a bit of work to assemble them, but I'm thinking it will be a lot of fun, and the Bind-It-All goes pretty fast! I am really excited, too, Cindy!! Gail |

Ladies, both of these girls have some to die for recipes they have collected over the years. I was really excited about this swap and was telling the girls what I was planning this morning. The girls got as excited I was and said they wish they had signed up when they realized it wasn't due until mid-August. Then I seen Gail's message under General Board asking for another volunteer for the swap and there was as many a 3 spots opened. I just had tell the girls there was still some spots open. I spent most of the day picking out papers and other supplies. This is so much fun! Cat

I am going to settle down and start working on them. I cut a set of 20 animals that was weighing me down but there are cut and done. I have one recipe down to use but that is all
I am really looking forward to these I have never done a recipe swap before
