The thickness depends on how you want to cut the cover. If you're going to cut a shaped cover and pages using a die, the chipboard will need to be lightweight if you're using a wafer thin die (like Die-Versions, Spellbinders or Quickutz). If you're using a steel-rule die (Sizzix), the chipboard can be pretty heavy and still cut. If you're not using dies, then any weight will work. Dianne has used heavy-weight chipboard for our recipe albums up til now. The chocolate one has lighter weight chipboard so we can fit more interior pages into the binding. If you're going to be covering the chipboard with paper, the lightweight chipboard in cereal boxes, etc. will work just fine. Quite a money-saver!!! HTH!!  Gail |

my goal was yesterday, to hit the post office the same time I mailed some boxes to my daughter. But DARN if she didn't text me yesterday morning and want me to add two more things to her box....ARGH! So I'm with you Cindy - Monday they are shipping out. but Gail I will put them in a priority mail envelope {with a ziplock} and you should have them Wednesday - postal gods wiling!!! |

Gail, thank you for understanding. What really frustrates me the most is I was doing so well; my creative mojo was firing on all cylinders. I was making great progress and I was sure I'd make the deadline. Then boom; every single thing I touched broke, fell apart or turned into a disaster zone; ready to consume any and all crafting items and projects. I know there had to be little gremlins running around our house playing havoc with everything. When I catch them little buggers  Cat
