Hey ladies, by popular demand, the Scrapyland Divas Chocolate Recipe Swap!!! Post in this thread and I'll sign you up! Deadline is August 18th.
We're expanding to 15 spots this time, so that means (if all spots fill) 15 copies of each recipe page! Limit is 1-2 pages per participant. For those who haven't participated before, I'll list the guidelines below the sign-up list. For previous participants, the only change is the number of participants.
Come on girls, I know we all have one or two (or ten!) good chocolate recipes to share!! Go for it!! Gail
1. Diane (casunflower) - RECEIVED
2. Susan (ScrapylandSusan) - RECEIVED
3. Gail (AnnaMatrix) - RECEIVED
4. Cat - RECEIVED
5. Christy (PeterPan) - RECEIVED
6. Michelle (Vederekutz) - RECEIVED
7. Cindy (Crazy4Pink) - RECEIVED
8. Carrie - RECEIVED
9. Pam (midmiscrapper) - RECEIVED
10. Erin (erinluvzcrafts)
11. Katie (cookiejarscraps) - RECEIVED
12. Karen (ScrappyKaren) - RECEIVED
13. Barbara (Pixie) - RECEIVED
14. Suzanne (Starry43) - RECEIVED
15. Leslie (1whoscraps) - RECEIVED
HERE'S THE "RULES":
1. Same size as last time: 8x8 inch pages.
2. Make enough identical pages so that there's one for each person participating.
3. Each page should have your recipe, whatever embellishment you'd like, and your name (on the back is fine). (Just think of it as a scrapbook page, but with a recipe where the photo used to be! )
4. Many participants have included some "history" of the recipe on the back as well, and this has been very popular with recipients. This is optional, but encouraged!
5. Like last time, leave about 1 inch on the left margin free for the binding (You can decorate it, just not with something too thick to punch through!) Also if you're doing a shaped page (something other than square), please leave the left edge straight so it can be bound.
6. Try to avoid too much 3D, so we can fit lots of recipes in the book!
7. I'll be asking for 1-2 recipes from each of you.
8. Deadline is August 18th .
Once your pages are finished, mail them to me. (Post here or PM me if you need the address). Diane and I will make the covers. Once all pages are received, I'll punch and bind them with my Cinch and mail the finished book out to each of you. You'll reimburse me for postage - usually in the range of $7-10, depending on the weight of the book, and where you live.
This is a great way to get to know the others on the MB a bit better, to share your cooking and scrapping skills, and to wind up with a great cookbook!! Any questions, post in this thread or PM me!
If you sign up, you won't be sorry!! Gail
