O. M. G. Ladies!!!! I got my book today (and mind you this is my first swap)!!!! The pages are amazing! And the recipes all look scrump-dillyicious too!! I can't wait to try some of these!! But first, I'm just going to sit down and enjoy the creativity!!

Thanks for the little surprise, Gail!! I will send out a check ASAP.

AND, side note, there is a little message from me on my second recipe page (Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies). It's inside of the kraft colored envelope with the heart on it.

I received my book today too such a great book!!! We ROCK! if I do say so myself!!! Every page is so fun. As with the others, I quickly flipped through the pages, excited to see the next page, and will go back and read through each one in detail!! It was so fun to read the little stories behind the recipes.

The cover is awesome! You have out done yourself Gail!!

I just received my gorgeous Chocolate Recipe Book today! OMG Ladies, this is super fantastic!!

This is also my first swap and I'm sooo glad I decided to do it. I agree, Cindy, WE DO ROCK!!!

All of the pages are just gorgeous!! I too am going to sit down and just look through this book tonight and take in all the creativity! Then I will have to give each and every one of these recipes a try.

Thanks again Gail for taking the time out of your busy schedule to put all these cookbooks together! I tell ya, it was sure worth the wait!

I think I just put on 20 pounds this afternoon...merely by looking at the incredibly yummy recipes in my chocolate book that came today!

HOLEEEEY SMOKES, LADIES! What an amazing cookbook. It is SO beautiful. I'm like Diane--I think I gained weight just looking at it--the EYE CANDY is so incredible. I recognize that candy box shape on the cover, too, Diane! I wasn't sure what I'd ever use it for, but I downloaded it a while back and now I can see just how cool it looks "for reals."

And Gail--I nearly fell in the floor when I opened the package and saw the extra treats! I think I may have a use for these in the next cookbook! Between ogling the cookbook cover and being surprised at the goodies, I think my eyes nearly popped out of my head. And I'm pretty sure I immediately started drooling, too.

Great, great job everyone. And thanks again to Diane and Gail for all of their work.

As much as it would be tempting to take credit for Gail's wonderful decorations on the covers, I will confess that the only part that I did was to use up about 10 miles of Scor-Tape to stick the stripe-y paper on the outside and the chocolate-y cardstock on the inside of the covers!

Gail did all of the difficult part!

Very clever story placement, Pam! Curiosity got the better of me and I just had to test the flap on that little envelope. To my delight it opened right up!

I knew the moment I saw the awesome cover this was going to be special. And extra goodies to boot! I'm just speechless. You ladies are all so very talented and generous!! Now I am totally inspired to get crackin' on my salad recipe(s)!!

Oh, and how about the USPS...I simply cannot believe how fast my book got here.

Thanks for all the great work, ladies! This will be another cherished volume in my growing SL recipe collection.

Now, to find an excuse to make these recipes for someone else so I can just taste them.

Girls, you deserve to be spoiled!! You create such fabulous pages, with such yummy recipes, and you're all so sweet!

This is my absolute favorite part of each swap - your reactions as you receive the books!

Though I also enjoy looking at your pages and recipes as they come in, and sharing them with my DH Keith. Getting the sneak peak first is so much fun.

I have to say, every single book we've done so far has been amazing, but I think we're getting better and better. Maybe it's because this one was Chocolate, but I think it's the best of the bunch!!

My boyfriend always says it's cute and looks good, but it's his youngest son that I have to watch out for. He's 11 years old and loves to cook, and he has said several times that he would like to participate in this swap. Of course he really doesn't have the time, but one of these days I hope we can both get around to working on a page together.
