Ladies, you have been SO patient, and I appreciate it!  Once Christy's pages arrive, I'll assemble the book and send it out right away!! Does anyone know Erin?? She signed up for this swap, and I haven't received her pages or heard from her... Tried PM'ing her but got no answer. I don't have another way to contact her, unless one of you has her e-mail. I'm guessing she's not participating, so I've decided to send the books out without her page, unless it arrives before Christy's. That leaves us with a dilemma - we'll have an extra recipe album. What should we do with it??? I haven't the foggiest idea, so I'd love to hear from you with any ideas you may have!! Enjoy your weekends, girls!!  Gail |

Diane, that is a good idea! I'm sure Rose will enjoy it! Gail, when I talked to Christy last night she said she was feeling better. She doesn't sound better, still had that croupy cough and raspy voice, but that usually hangs on for awhile. She said, she was going to finish up her pages today. The perfectionist in her won't allow her to to call it good, she has to put on all of her finishing touches. You should be getting her pages early this week. Okay, let's see... House AC fixed...check  Recurring coolant leak on the car fixed...check, no check, no...okay check  Finish search for new car to replace the 15 year old one I love before it leaves me stranded somewhere in the middle of Texas...check  New car ordered...think so but haven't seen the confirmation  Finish second round of antibiotics...almost, just one more pill  Purchase third box of Mucinex...check  Finger I smashed in the car door on the mend...check  Wish mentor of 16+ years good luck at his new company...check  Replace half of my recruiting team the day before we are supposed to leave for the engineering career fair...check  What else, let's see I know there is something......... Oh, yeah...chocolate recipe swap recipe pages: finished...check packed...check mailed...check Ladies, thank you so much for your patience with me this time. I swear you cannot make this stuff up!   I promise, promise, promise to do better next time. Well assuming I don't smash my right index finger again...I never realized just how important that finger is until I tried to break the end of it off.  Gail you should finally have my pages around Thursday or so. Oh and love the idea of giving the extra book to Rose. I think I'm going to run away and hide for a few days now! ;D Christy |

;D Well, at least we won't have to hunt for you on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. Ladies, the poor car has been all over Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas. Surely the mileage gage has rolled over so many times there no numbers left on it. Okay, Mom, I just rolled over 179,000 miles last night...at least the odometer still works unlike the VW when I finally said goodbye to it! Thanks for letting me know the pages made it, Gail. I was thinking they should be there Thursday or Friday. Hope you guys have a great vacation. Good to see you, too, sister. I wish I'd had more time in town but duty calls. I'll see you again when we're back for interviews. Poopie is not a bad way to describe the last several weeks. It was getting to the point it was almost comical. But the most important stuff seems to be fixed and I am definitely on the mend. Feeling lots better and if I can just make it past recruiting season all will be well...come on Thanksgiving!! Well, ladies, heading home tomorrow, so I'll be finishing up the books soon. My goal is to complete them on Tuesday (my day off) and get them mailed out Tues or Wed. Vacation has been lovely, great beach weather - not too hot, not too cool, with a light breeze and plenty of sunshine!  I've been totally lazy, and will be rasring to go when I get home! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! I'll post the sign up for the Salad recipe swap when I get home. I'm gonna hold you guys to the deadline a bit more strictly this time, so I can get the books bound and out before Thanksgiving, OK??? Then I'm thinking we'll take a break for the Holidays, and start up again after the first of the year, if you are interested. I'd love to hear any thoughts you have about these plans, so fire away!! Oh Gail I'm so happy you had great beach weather! It's so much more relaxing when the weather "plays nice" while we are on vacation. I promise to get my "Salad Recipe" in on time. While I love making these recipe books, I wouldn't mind a break for the holidays.We are so busy at work during the holidays its hard to find time to make the holidays special at home. Cat |

Whew!!! All pages are collated and bound. They just fit into the 11/4 inch binder wire..... Sorry it took longer than I thought - got hung up on Tuesday catching up with paperwork at my office. It's amazing what can accumulate in just a week!! It's a great book, girls!! I'll begin shipping it out tomorrow. Gail |

Gail, you are the greatest! I can imagine all that paperwork; makes you almost want to turn tail and run for the hills. Just a weeks worth of my scanning and filing makes me shutter; not to mention all the other stuff. It's amazing how much hard copy paperwork a place does every day; then there's what is done on the computers. OH MY!!!! I appreciate all that you do for us! Thank you so very much!!!! Cat |

Thanks for all of your efforts organizing, binding and shipping!! I'm sure there's more involved that I'm missing. I can't wait to see this book!!

Girls, you are entirely welcome!! Running out of boxes to pack the books in - and here I thought I had plenty!  I'm sure Keith can scrounge some up for me!! And, yes, Susan, you better start exercising now, cause these recipes are all Chocofabulicious!! ;D Just when I thought it was impossible to cram more gooey deliciousness into a recipe, someone did!! The tide is turning ladies. The new car will be in a few weeks earlier than I expected. Recruiting season is almost over. Southwest found my beloved Kindle I left on their plane two weeks ago and I have it back in my hands already.
